02:38 pm - Main Library Celebrates Teen Tech Week with MySpace
For the first time, Teen Tech Week will be celebrated nationally, March 4-10. Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave., will celebrate March 7, 3:30 p.m. with a MySpace Workshop. Teens will decorate their MySpace pages building templates from online resources.
Teen Tech Week is a Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) celebration aimed at getting teens to use technologies offered at their libraries, such as DVDs, databases, audiobooks, electronic games and more. For nearly 50 years, YALSA has been the world leader in selecting books, videos, and audio books for teens.
