Does your reading group need information about an author? Do you have an English assignment on a Maya Angelou or Ernest Hemingway? Are you curious about a new author or want to know Stephen King’s pseudonym?

Literature Resource Center contains literary criticisms, author biographies, magazine articles, compare and contrast pages, reading lists and more. It is helpful for literature students or anyone who wants to research their favorite author. This online resource covers over 100,000 novelists, poets, essayists, and journalists, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most studied authors.

Literature Resource Center is accessible from your home or at the library with a few keystrokes and your library card.

Access by following these simple steps:
  • Access Literature Resource Center from the library’s database page.
  • Scroll down to Literature Resource Center or choose it from the drop down menu.
  • To access outside the library, your library card and password is required.
