Teens can learn about smart food choices at the Go Healthy Cooking Class at the Clearwater Main Library, Monday, Aug. 11, 2 p.m.

Teens are invited to join us to learn how to prepare delicious recipes from the American Heart Association’ s Healthy Recipes Kids Love cookbook. Participants will learn interesting facts about the foods we eat, gain the skills to create delicious, quick meals, and expand their knowledge in order to make healthy food choices. Limited to 20 participants, call to register.

12:05 pm - Publix Apron’s Cooking School at the Clearwater Main Library
Join Publix Apron’s Cooking School Chef Bill Mitchell as he demonstrates recipes for festive holiday entertaining, noon - 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Clearwater Main Library. On the menu: Hot Crab and Artichoke Dip; Smoked Salmon Mousse; and Chocolate Cherry Truffles. Twenty-five tickets to the sample table will be given out, beginning at 11 a.m. Recipes and additional seating will also be available at the program.

This free program is part of the Main Library’s Menus at Main Series. No sign up is necessary. For more information, call (727) 562-4970 ext. 5284.

Join Publix Apron’s Cooking School Chef Bil Mitchell as he prepares a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration (Shepard’s Pie, North Sea Gravlax (Caraway cured Salmon, and Soda Bread), Thursday, March 8, noon-1 p.m., at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave.
